Interscapes Home Fabrics originally opened as a retail fabric store in 1997 and quickly transformed into a thriving retail and custom sewing business. By the end of our fifth year in business, our greatest demand was for custom sewing. Interscapes transformed and placed primary focus on custom orders by expanding our workroom.

Focus on providing quality sewing and personal attention helped develop excellent relationships and reputation with customers and designers. Customers compliment us by providing repeat business, referrals, and new business.

Included in the Interscapes' portfolio is a very successful consulting and sample manufacturing business. We now provide these services to several local textile companies and light manufacturing businesses. Since 2002, Interscapes has provided show samples for such products as window treatments, bath products, baby bedding and accessories, specialty and promotional items.

With this background, it was a natural progression to take this business to the next step of designing window treatments. In 2005, the corporation was renamed to Palmetto Window Designs Inc. and the process of designing and selling window treatment patterns began. The introductory pattern was launched in April of 2006. As our patterns grow in popularity, work continues in designing and developing other patterns, and there is much excitement within the company for the products currently in various stages of development.
